Samsung Galaxy S25: release date, price, models and everything we think we know about them

It’s clear that Samsung’s launch strategy for the Galaxy S25 Ultra won’t change much anytime soon. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy S24 FE launches are over, and with just two months left in the year, the next series will be the Galaxy S25. Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S25 series in early 2025.

The company hasn’t made any official statements, but there have been plenty of rumors and leaks in recent months. As usual, the series is supposed to consist of a base model, a Plus model, and an Ultra, but now the focus will be on the top version. Here’s a rundown of the most important information available so far about the S25 Ultra.

  1. Galaxy S25 Ultra Design:-

Reliable sources suggest that one of the most notable changes to the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be in the exterior design. The square frame with sharp corners will be replaced with a more streamlined frame with rounded corners. The front and back panels will be completely flat, giving the phone a modern look in line with the rest of the series.

The leaks also suggest that the camera rings on the Samsung S25 Ultra will be similar to those on the Galaxy Z Fold 6, with thin lines around the lenses. Samsung will continue to offer the S Pen, with a stylus holder on the left side of the phone. Additionally, the company seems to have worked on slimming down the bezels of the S25 Ultra, with the titanium frame being thinner than the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Galaxy S25 Ultra Display:-

Thanks to these changes, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to feature a slightly larger display of 6.9 inches instead of 6.8 inches. We also expect Samsung to use the same anti-reflective coating found on the S24 Ultra’s display, which is a great feature that is expected to continue. In terms of specifications, Samsung is likely to use M14 generation OLED panels, which are more efficient and brighter than the M13 generation used on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Galaxy S25 Ultra processor:-

There is a lot of talk about the choice of processors for the upcoming series. After using a MediaTek processor in the Galaxy Tab S10+, the chances of Samsung using the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor in its upcoming flagships are increasing. However, other reports suggest that Samsung may use the Exynos 2500 processor in some regions and the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor in others. However, the Samsung S25 Ultra is likely to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor in all markets.

Galaxy S25 Ultra Camera:-

The camera probably won’t see any major changes, but there are suggestions of a higher-resolution 50MP ultra-wide camera, which comes with a 1/2.52-inch optical size, an f/1.9 lens, and a pixel size of 0.7µm. In addition to the ultra-wide camera, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is likely to be equipped with a 200MP main camera, a 10MP 3x telephoto camera, a 50MP 5x telephoto camera, and a 12MP selfie unit.

S25 Ultra Operating System:-

Everyone is eagerly awaiting the upcoming One UI 7.0 update, which is the biggest in the history of Samsung’s Android interface. Although it is not yet released, not even in the beta testing phase, Samsung announced during the SDC conference that One UI 7 will be available to the public early next year.

When launched, the Samsung S25 Ultra is expected to run Android 15 and One UI 7.0 at the very least, or it may come with an updated version known as One UI 7.1.

Galaxy S25 Ultra release date:-

Samsung has yet to announce the date of its next Galaxy Unpacked event, but the Samsung S25 Ultra is likely to be unveiled in January or February.
